    About Christopher L. McFarlin, J.D.

    Dr. Chris McFarlin is the Department Chair of Criminal Justice at Tri-County Technical College. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice for American Military University.  He holds a Juris Doctorate degree as well as Master degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology.   He has been a law enforcement officer, state prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge.  He is a certified police training officer and co-founder of a law enforcement training company in SC.  He routinely speaks at national conferences and is consulted on various criminal justice and policing matters.  He most recently served as an expert panelist on De-escalation Techniques in Policing for CJAD 800 talk radio in Montreal, Quebec Canada.
